Job Summary: 

Responsible to maintain strong relationships with the existing customer whilst cultivating a good relationship with a new client. Involved in market research to identify new customer and market trends and manage the information for the company's growth strategies. Communicate with the business unit in securing good business deals with the customers. Provide management support in making profitable long-term and short-term business decisions that meet high-quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with existing and potential customers in exploring and discovering opportunities for business growth.

  • Participate in analyzing market trends and strategies in securing new business deals.

  • Coordinate the requirement, examine risks and integrate the requirement of the customers with business operations, in developing and negotiating contracts.

  • Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • To prepare day-to-day administrative works in respect of business development.

  • To support Management in organization key initiatives.

  • To be KPI-focused.

  • To carry out any other duties, functions and responsibilities as directed/assigned by the Management.

  • Adhere to all LMTSB Safety policies and procedures.


  • Minimum requirement of a diploma in Logistics or Business Management or equivalent.

  • Preferably with minimum 7 years’ experience in sales and marketing field.



  • Analytical and meticulous in performing the task assigned and excellent negotiating skills.

  • Good leadership skills, self-motivated and able to perform multiple tasks independently and efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • A team player with good communication skills, able to interact with people from all levels.

  • Excellent documentation/written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
