Perak terima pelaburan tambahan RM1 bilion
IPOH - Pembangunan ekonomi Perak yang terjejas akibat penularan wabak koronavirus (Covid-19) mendapat suntikan pelaburan tambahan berjumlah RM1 bilion daripada tujuh syarikat swasta tempatan.
Pelaburan dalam pelbagai sektor dan industri itu dijangka mewujudkan lebih 700 peluang pekerjaan bagi masyarakat setempat dengan jangkaan pertumbuhan Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK) Perak mencapai sasaran RM103 bilion menjelang 2027.

IPOH, 24 July 2020 - Perak received an investment injection of over RM1 billion in a joint venture between the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) and seven private companies operating in the state.
Perak Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said the cooperation would create more than 700 job opportunities, thus increasing the income of people in the state.

As new initiatives and innovation facilities within the four states take off, the spillover effects will not only benefit those working and living in the economic corridor, but also position Malaysia as a leader in several sectors.
The Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA), which is targeting to facilitate a total of RM6.5 billion in investments for the NCER, is poised to work with four firms on projects in the manufacturing, logistics and agriculture sectors, respectively.

Sultan Perak terima serahan zakat perniagaan lebih RM25.8 juta
IPOH - [DIKEMAS KINI] Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzudin Shah berkenan menerima serahan zakat perniagaan bernilai lebih RM25.8 juta daripada 20 agensi di Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan di sini hari ini.
Pada majlis itu, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) yang diwakili pengerusinya, Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid mengemukakan bayaran zakat perniagaan tertinggi bagi tahun kewangan berakhir 2019 iaitu sebanyak RM7,687,022.14 diikuti Lembaga Tabung Haji Perak RM5,973,516.04.
Lembaga Air Perak (LAP) menyerahkan sejumlah RM5,152,000 zakat perniagaan kepada baginda, Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (RM1,549,000), Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd (RM1,074,417.78) dan Puncak Emas Infra Sdn Bhd berjumlah RM700,110.
Sultan Perak terima zakat RM25.8 juta bagi pihak MAIPk
IPOH: Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah berkenan menerima pembayaran zakat perniagaan berjumlah RM25.8 juta daripada 20 syarikat serta agensi perniagaan.
Baginda menerima pembayaran itu bagi pihak Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Perak (MAIPk) di Dewan Al-Ghazali, Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan di sini, hari ini.
Antara syarikat yang menyerahkan zakat berkenaan ialah Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) berjumlah RM7.69 juta diikuti Lembaga Tabung Haji Negeri Perak (RM5.97 juta), Lembaga Air Perak (RM5.15 juta), Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (RM1.55 juta), dan Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd (RM1.07 juta).
Straits Inter Logistics expands bunkering services to Lumut Port
PETALING JAYA: Straits Inter Logistics Bhd expanded its bunkering services into Lumut Port, following an agreement signed between its 55%-owned unit Tumpuan Megah Development Sdn Bhd and the port’s operator, Lumut Maritime Sdn Bhd today.
The agreement has a contract period of one year from Oct 1, 2019 with the option to renew for not more than one year, upon mutual agreement.

Straits Inter Logistics wins fuel bunkering service contract at Lumut Port
KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 1): Straits Inter Logistics Bhd has secured a contract to provide fuel bunkering services at Lumut Port.
In a joint statement today, the group announced that its 55%-owned subsidiary Tumpuan Megah Development Sdn Bhd (TMD) has entered into a Fuel Bunkering Services Agreement with Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd (LMTSB), the operator of Lumut Port which handles over 500 ships every year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Straits Inter Logistics Bhd’s (SIL) 55 per cent unit Tumpuan Megah Development Sdn Bhd (TMD) has kicked off its bunkering operation in Lumut Port.
In a recent statement, SIL said it is set to benefit from the bunkering of 80,000 vessels passing through the Straits of Malacca annually.
Second Lumut port to be Perak’s first clean cargo port
LUMUT: The second Lumut Port, which is expected to be completed by early 2023, is set to be the first port in Perak to use the ‘clean cargo’ concept.
Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Mubarak Ali Gulam Rasul said the 46.5ha port will only handle clean cargo such as cereals, beans and sugar.
Lumut Port expansion to be completed by 2020
The expansion of the Lumut Port in Kampung Acheh, at a cost of RM200 million, is expected to be completed before 2020, says Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir.
Saying that the project would cater to the needs of future investors, he added that the port had handled more than 45 million tonnes of cargo and received about 7,400 ships in the last 20 years.

Second Lumut Port to be ready in two years
LUMUT (Dec 29): The second Lumut Port, which is being built in Kampung Acheh, Sitiawan, Perak, is expected to be completed within two years.
Deputy Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Dr Mohd Hatta Md Ramli said the new port will help reduce congestion at the Lumut Port which has been operating since 1995.
He said the new port to be operated by Lumut Maritime Terminal Sdn Bhd is situated on an 80-hectare site near the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Bridge, in Sitiawan, near the first port.
Lumut Maritime Terminal to build a new port
IPOH: The Lumut Maritime Terminal (LMT), which is owned by Perak Corp Bhd and Tenaga Nasional Bhd, plans to build a new port on the shores of Sungai Dinding near Sitiawan, said chief executive officer Mubarak Ali Gulam Rasul.
He said LMT was still conducting feasibility studies to determine if the port could be built on a 46ha site here or elsewhere.
